At this point, you already know my amazing friend Violet who is always down to do these photoshoots with me. She recently got this new haircut that is called the skunk. She had sent me a photo of her with the haircut and I immediately got excited. We both knew that we had to plan a photoshoot soon.
We were trying to decide a theme when I thought of this location. I have been to this location before but I wanted a reason to come again because I love being able to go into the water halfway for some amazing portraits.
So I told Violet and we immediately knew what we wanted to do. Violet loved the idea of doing a siren theme. I had this white dress I hadn't worn since I graduated high school so I told her she could wear it. And when we do the photoshoot, she can get it as dirty as she wants because I will not be wearing it again.
This photoshoot was fun, just like always. Even with the water being extremely cold, we both got legs in the water up to our thighs for these photos. I would say it was definitely worth it because these portraits turned out beautifully. Violet went above and beyond though, cause by the end of the photoshoot, she was completely covered in water and dirt.
Violet always has this way with her facial expressions that really just bring the whole story together. Thats a thing I always appreciate when working with Violet, the photos always tell a story.
