This photoshoot was such a blast, honestly. I have taken photos for Payten once before and I was really excited to find out that she wanted to book me again to do her senior portraits. Usually at a photoshoot, their tends to be that 20-30 minute interval at the beginning where the person in front of the camera is finding comfort in being in front of the camera. Now this is totally normal & I expect it whenever I am meeting someone new at a photoshoot. I tend to take simpler portraits at the beginning of photoshoots because of this. But since we had done photos before, this moment of awkwardness ceased to exist. We immediately got to work in creating some beautiful portraits together.

A funny moment that I will always remember is when me and Payten were in the zone of taking pictures and doing some different poses. I turned around to see that my fiance who was my assistant for the photoshoot was arms deep snacking on some ships with Payten's mom, who had brought snacks as well. I just thought to myself, "well they're getting along" lol. It almost felt like we were just a bunch of friends hanging out and taking portraits on a beautiful day together.
