As I eased my car into the park, I knew this photoshoot was going to be a good one. Despite the clouds that veil the sky, I knew that these clouds are actually good when it comes to a photoshoot; cloudy weather always lends a soft, flattering lights. And with my trusty battery-powered light at the ready, I knew I could capture every moment, no matter how the daylight changed.

Outdoor photoshoots like these hold a special allure for me; they're an opportunity to venture into the unknown, exploring new areas and uncovering hidden gems. As we walked through the park, the sight of turtles popping their heads out of the lake captivated our attention. We couldn't help but watch them for a moment.

But amidst the serene beauty of nature, there was a lightheartedness that kept us laughing. Taylor's penchant for accidentally dipping into bodies of water added a playful element to the day. We teased about potential mishaps, jokingly planning to take some photos if she happened to fall in. Yet, to our relief, Taylor managed to stay dry throughout the shoot!

Discovering that Taylor had lettered in softball at Kingwood Park High School added another layer of significance to our time together. It was a privilege to capture portraits that would commemorate this pivotal moment in her life, showcasing her achievements and aspirations as she embarks on her senior year journey.

But beyond the photographs, what made this photoshoot truly memorable was the genuine warmth and kindness of Taylor and her mom, Kasi. Their easygoing demeanor and infectious enthusiasm made the experience feel less like work and more like a leisurely stroll with friends. I'm immensely grateful to them for inviting me to be part of this milestone moment, and I'll treasure the memories we created together for years to come.

Thank you Taylor & Kasi for having me :)
